ABeka: This is a Christian curriculum used by Christian Schools and homeschoolers around the world. It is a structured curriculum focusing on Bible themes, scripture memory, letter and number recognition, letter sounds, fundamentals of reading, and basic math skills. We begin using this curriculum in the two-year-old class. It then builds on itself for each progressing year. For example, in the two-year-old class, they are beginning with letter and number recognition. The three-year-old class is working with a review of letter/number recognition as well as beginning with letter sounds. The four-year-old class is working on basic math skills, a review of letter sounds, and learning the fundamentals of reading. Our four-year-olds reach milestone after milestone as they work through their readers.
